Course Details: 400 yard swim, 11 mile bike, 3 mile run.
All distances are approximate.
Swim: Swim - 400 yard swim (16 lengths or 8 laps) at El Diamante pool; This is known as a hectic swim and we do our best to manage the logistics. You will find a lane that best fits your level of swimming. Faster swimmers will use the South lanes, not as fast swimmers will use the North lanes. Exit the pool on the South side and head to transition area.
Bike: YOU MUST WEAR A HELMET! Please do not forget this. You will exit the access road and turn right on Crenshaw, turn right on Whitendale, cross Akers, turn right on Roeben, turn left on Walnut and then you will head all the way around the golf course along Plaza Drive; out to the airport turn around. You will come back the same way. The bike is approximately 9 miles.
Run: You will exit the access road and stay on the side walk the entire run. You will run around the perimeter of the school, making 2 1/2 laps; on your 3rd lap, you will enter the North gate (closest to SaveMart) and run down the grass field into the track. The finish will be located on the South side of the track. The run is approximately 3.5 miles.
